About the role
This role involves driving customer engineering and helping technically to win complex design opportunities for Marvell products. You will act as a regional subject matter expert on Marvell Ethernet Switching portfolio.
What you'll do
- Work closely with customers on projects, own programs, and troubleshoot reported issues.
- Diagnose and resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner.
- Interface with regional/WW FAE Team members, R&D teams, and product management.
- Support customer teams integrating Marvell products in their designs and assist with board/software bring up.
- Replicate issues using customer configurations in a lab environment for investigations.
- Author technical knowledge base articles for customers and other engineering personnel.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or related fields and 8 - 12 years of software development background.
- Proficient in C and C++ language.
- Good knowledge in computer networking.
- Experience in L2 Switching and Routing protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Exposure to L1 networking.
- Good Knowledge of Networking OS(NOS), SAI/Sonic, Linux Kernel and L1/L2 drivers.
- Understanding of PCIe, TCAM, hash memories, SERDES, high speed I/O interfaces, DMA controllers, MDIO, and i2c.
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure of Enterprise, Data Center and carrier network switching and networking.
- Knowledge/experience with Marvell Switching/Networking products.
- Previous experience in technical customer engineering role.
