Sr. Staff Engineer, Technical Program Manager
$170,000 - $210,000 USD yearly

About the role
This role leads the development and execution of complex engineering programs within the Silicon-Photonics and Laser light source Platforms team, coordinating cross-functional software, hardware, and mechanical engineers alongside supplier engagement.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time and on-budget program delivery.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and align on project goals, resourcing, milestones, and deliverables.
- Contribute to developing gate and phase processes from scratch for development through high volume manufacturing, defining entry and exit criteria for each phase gate.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Monitor program progress, deliver status updates to senior management, and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with product management and marketing teams to support product launch and customer adoption.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in program management in semiconductors and/or photonics.
- Technical background in semiconductor, photonics, or optics engineering.
- PgMP, PMP, or other program/project management certification.
- Familiarity with product development and commercialization processes.
Nice to have
- System level experience.
- MS or PhD.
