About the role
Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Software Development Engineers to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for semiconductor operations.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
- Develop software and tools supporting design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based, and internet-related tools.
- Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design.
- Develop systems-level software, addressing problems of complex scope that require analysis of multiple factors.
- Select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria within defined procedures to achieve project results.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python & Bash, JavaScript, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with Machine Learning and TensorFlow.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and software debugging across Windows and Linux.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Azure SQLDB) and relational data querying (T-SQL, SQL).
- Experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure event hub, Azure Batch, and CI/CD via Azure DevOps, alongside Git.
