About the role
This role involves the design and development of RF LNA and switches for cellular applications. The position focuses on integrating these components into multi-chip modules and optimizing the RF chain.
What you'll do
- Design and develop RF LNA and switches for cellular applications, potentially using SOI and BiCMOS technologies.
- Support standalone LNA and switch modules and their integration into multi-chip modules (MCM).
- Work with layout designers to implement best practices for layout.
- Create test laminates, troubleshoot measurement issues, and perform sim vs meas correlation.
- Conduct peer reviews of designs and communicate program updates, progress, and issues.
What you'll need
- MSEE or PhD in an RF related field.
- >5 years of experience in LNA and/or other RFIC designs.
- Extensive experience designing with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS.
- Strong background with RF measurements and characterization.
- Experience in standard RF design techniques and best practices.
- Working knowledge of device physics for IC design, especially tradeoffs for LNA and switch configuration.
- Strong background in various linear and nonlinear simulation techniques and simulators.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of RF PA design and other large signal circuit design.
- Successful release of production LNA and switches for mobile applications.
