- Develop BAW and SAW filtering components for wireless RF applications.
- Assist in defining new products through feasibility studies and technical competitive analyses.
- Design microwave acoustic devices using techniques like bandpass filters, ladder filters, and notch filters.
- Perform acoustic and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using commercial and internal tools, providing final device layout.
- Collaborate with BAW and SAW process engineers and the R&D team, considering fabrication process variations.
- Work with characterization and test engineers to evaluate and diagnose devices using RF/Microwave test equipment.
- Document product and design information and support new product transfer to production.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent, including RF circuit design, EM simulation, layout, impedance matching, filter evaluation, RF characterization, and system-level measurements.
- Knowledge of circuit simulation, front-end radio architecture, communication systems, RF characterization, micro-electronics technology, and fabrication processes.
- Extensive experience designing with HFSS, AWR, ADS, or similar tools.
Nice to have
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Direct experience with BAW or SAW design.
- Knowledge of microelectronic fabrication and high-volume manufacturing, statistical analysis, and Six Sigma methods.
- Programming skills in scripting languages and/or MATLAB.
- General knowledge of wireless protocols and communication standards.
