About the role
Skyworks is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team, serving as the hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams. The role interprets program requirements, establishes technical development plans, assesses technical risk, and ensures engineering commitments are met.
What you'll do
- Develop top level and subassembly requirements.
- Define detailed design and performance requirements.
- Monitor key design activities and maintain design engineering schedules.
- Track engineering action items, technical dependencies, and design review outcomes.
- Coordinate activities across RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense and/or aerospace applications.
- Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes.
- Strong understanding of requirements management and product development.
- Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams through concept, design, and validation phases.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
