About the role
The Senior Product Manager, AI Infrastructure and Solutions owns the system-level product definition, integration readiness, and launch readiness for AMD-based solutions combining hardware and software into deployable, supportable offerings. This role translates customer and segment needs across Hyperscaler AI, Enterprise, or HPC into testable requirements spanning platform hardware, firmware/drivers, ROCm/software stacks, and ecosystem dependencies.
What you'll do
- Own system-level product definition across hardware and software by authoring and maintaining System Requirements Specifications (SRS). - Consolidate and normalize customer, Sales, OEM/ODM partner, and internal stakeholder inputs into a structured, prioritized requirements backlog with decision rationale. - Lead cross-functional dependency and integration planning across silicon/platform, firmware/drivers, ROCm/software stack, frameworks, OEM systems, and cloud images. - Define workload-level performance targets and benchmarking proof requirements tied to reproducible methodology and validated configurations. - Support launch readiness and field enablement by defining supported configurations, limitations, known issues, launch briefs, and field FAQs. - Manage post-launch feedback and escalation triage to determine whether hotfixes, point releases, or roadmap actions are required.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Experience in Product Management, Solutions Product Management, Technical Product Management, Systems Engineering, or related technical roles. - Experience connecting workload requirements to hardware/software architecture and lifecycle constraints. - Ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional solution scopes and drive alignment across teams without formal authority. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive presentations, artifact production, and clear risk assessment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or MBA in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Senior-level, cross-functional enterprise experience in data center infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, HPC systems, or integrated hardware and software products. - Working knowledge of platform/system architecture (power/thermals, topology, I/O, networking, memory, RAS) and firmware/driver dependencies. - Demonstrated experience defining and launching system-level solutions requiring coordination across hardware, firmware, drivers, software frameworks, and partner ecosystems. - Knowledge of benchmarking methodology and reproducibility.
