ASML steppers/scanners and TEL track systems supporting 1x, i-line, and ebeam lithography processes.
About the role
Skyworks is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join the Lithography team in Richardson, TX, to develop, optimize, and sustain lithography processes for device fabrication. The role involves supporting a broad range of litho toolsets related to 1x, i-line, and ebeam processes.
What you'll do
- Develop, optimize, and sustain lithography processes used for device fabrication at the Skyworks semiconductor fabrication facility.
- Support photolithography processes and tools for resist coat, expose, develop, and associated metrology across 1x, i-line, and ebeam toolsets.
- Work with cross-functional teams in Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Integration, and R&D to ensure process stability, improve yield, and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule and spend significant time working in a cleanroom environment.
What you'll need
- BS in Engineering, Materials, Statistics, or physical sciences (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years of wafer fab semiconductor photolithography process engineering experience (3+ years with an MS, or 0+ years with a PhD).
- Demonstrated track record in process development, process control, DOE execution, yield improvement, and root-cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ASML steppers/scanners and TEL track systems, including process qualification, optimization, matching, and troubleshooting.
- Measurable record of driving improvements in yield, defectivity, overlay, critical dimension control, and overall process performance.
- Experience leveraging large manufacturing datasets using SQL, Oracle, Spotfire, Access, JMP, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to spend significant time standing and working in a cleanroom environment, including some lifting.
Nice to have
- MS or PhD in Engineering, Materials, Statistics, or physical sciences.
