Device Integration Engineer, Staff

About the role
This role is responsible for the improvement and sustaining of semiconductor manufacturing processes, development of new process modules, and leading or coordinating large engineering projects. You will develop, implement, and optimize technologies within a VLSI manufacturing and foundry environment.
What you'll do
- Drive process integration, yield enhancement, and continuous improvement for existing and newly developed semiconductor technologies.
- Design, coordinate, and execute experiments, including Design of Experiments (DOE), to advance technology development.
- Analyze E-test, product yield, and process data to identify trends, root causes, and failure mechanisms down to the circuit level.
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC), data analytics, and structured problem-solving to drive data-based process decisions.
- Support technology transfer, process qualification, manufacturing ramp-up, and the transition from development to stable production.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations, and R&D teams to resolve manufacturing and process issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, or technology development.
- Deep knowledge and experience in at least one core area: Process Integration, BiCMOS/Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, or Diffusion.
- Proven experience using SPC, DOE, statistical data analysis, and yield analysis tools to drive manufacturing improvements.
- Ability to perform circuit-level failure analysis and translate analytical findings into clear presentations.
Nice to have
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, or technology development.
- Extensive cross-functional experience collaborating with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations, and R&D teams.
