About the role
This role involves creating and modifying PCB designs and detailed CAD drawings with attention to DFM/DFA/DFT requirements. You will collaborate with RF Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Test Development Engineers to create designs from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Independently execute end-to-end PCB design using Altium Software, including schematic capture, complex HDI PCB layout, from concept to fabrication, assembly, and production.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance of schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts, managing engineering changes and design revision traceability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance, signal and power integrity, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) requirements.
- Prepare and manage complete design documentation packages, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, BOMs, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
What you'll need
- BSE Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium and Allegro for multi-site schematic entry and multi-layer high-density boards.
- Heavy experience on ATE multisite load boards and probe cards.
- Proficient in high density design (HDI) for high count fine pitch BGA packages (0.4mm) routing & RF High-frequency layout design.
- Strong expertise in Design for Excellence (DFx) methodologies, including DFM, DFA, DFT, and DFR, and PCB manufacturing processes.
