About the role
This role will drive the planning, execution, and delivery for the development and production of Coherent's Optical Circuit Switch platform. You will lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
- Manage the R&D, NPI and manufacture activities to meet the customer target specification and delivery time schedule.
- Define program scope, goals, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure accountability across all teams.
- Interface with customers and lead such engagements, including presentations and issue resolution.
What you'll need
- Advanced degree in optical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or other opto-electronic discipline.
- 15+ years in technical program management or product line management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent formal and informal communications skills, including written and oral discussions.
- Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.
- Able to function in English.
Nice to have
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.
