About the role
This role supports the growth and profitability of the Photonic Device business unit, focusing on high-power CW DFB laser chips, chip-on-carriers (CoCs), and high-speed photodetector (PD) products. Reporting to the PLM Director, this position involves regular collaboration with internal and external teams.
What you'll do
- Support the PLM Director in managing P&L and overall financial performance.
- Track revenue and gross margin for the business.
- Assist with annual budgeting and 5-year planning.
- Prepare business cases for R&D and CapEx investments.
- Partner with sales and product marketing teams worldwide to track design-in opportunities.
- Manage Product Change Notification (PCN) to customers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Familiarity with P&L, gross margin, cost and pricing, business case development, and CapEx budgeting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI tools.
