About the role
This role will drive the planning, execution, and delivery for the development and production of Coherent's Optical Circuit Switch platform. This involves partner with engineering, product, design, and business teams to define requirements, build project plans, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of a high-quality platform.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
- Manage R&D, NPI, and manufacture activities to meet customer target specifications and delivery schedules.
- Define program scope, goals, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Interface with customers and lead engagements, including presentations and issue resolution.
- Communicate program status, risks, and milestones clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership.
What you'll need
- Advanced degree in optical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or other opto-electronic discipline.
- 15+ years in technical program management or product line management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent formal and informal communications skills, including written and oral discussions.
- Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.
- Able to function in English.
Nice to have
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
