About the role
This role involves supervising and facilitating engineers for process control, yield, process development, and technical problem-solving within the semiconductor industry.
What you'll do
- Supervise engineers for process control, yield, and process development.
- Guide engineering activities in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with other functional groups like Operation, Equipment Engineering, Process Integration, and Design.
- Assess competence, evaluate performance, and mentor individual engineers for professional development.
- Represent the team in internal and external communication.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences or related science/engineering with 7+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
- 3+ years of engineering management experience.
- Knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices.
- Knowledge of multiple unit processes related to chip/eval operation.
- Knowledge of engineering statistics.
- Experience working in a class 100/1000 clean room and wearing full cleanroom attire.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor processing or optoelectronics device experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor lasers or optoelectronic devices.
- Fluency in JMP or other statistics software.
- Project management skill.
