What you'll do
- Lead or coordinate projects to minimize defects, improve process control, reduce rework, study process windows for new devices, qualify new tools, and develop new processes.
- Analyze E-test and yield data, disposition problem wafers and lots, and author E-test procedures, specifications, documentation, and test programs.
- Direct failure analysis efforts and utilize advanced analytical tools to investigate root causes and solve wafer fabrication problems.
- Manage process crises through containment, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Write process capability reports for process engineering and customer review.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations, and R&D teams on technology development, technology transfers, and yield enhancement projects.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
- Experience with SPC and DOE.
- Knowledge and experience in one or more areas: Process Integration, Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, Diffusion, Implant, or E-Test.
- Ability to communicate and present technical concepts and analysis in an effective manner.
