About the role
This role provides pre- and post-sales technical guidance to customers, focusing primarily on AMD x86 and FPGA technologies. Responsibilities include system and module level design evaluations, technical issue resolution, and developing reference designs and demonstrations.
What you'll do
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical guidance to customers, evaluating system and module level designs.
- Develop reference designs, conduct product demonstrations, and run benchmarks.
- Serve as a technical contributor and extension of customer development teams during customer engagements.
- Help debug and resolve customer design issues, advising on system architecture and design optimization.
- Create and deliver training material for customers on effective design methodologies.
- Provide feedback to AMD product development teams on hardware, software, tools, run-time software, device architectures, and IP.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience designing FPGAs.
- Experience with front-end or back-end (physical design) EDA tools.
- Experience with ASIC design tools for synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis.
- Experience with C, C++, or Python.
- Experience with embedded processor systems, logic and circuit design, and software verification.
