About the role
This internship role focuses on developing embedded firmware and supporting customer applications for power and connectivity systems. The position centers on reference designs and system testing for USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and customize embedded firmware for reference designs and customer applications.
- Validate firmware and hardware against customer and product requirements.
- Perform interoperability, compliance, and system-level testing on reference and customer designs.
- Troubleshoot and support the integration of USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) technologies.
- Develop application notes and technical documentation for USB Type-C and USB-PD applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and strategic customers to support technical solutions and product development.
What you'll need
- Degree pursuit or completion (Bachelor's or Master's) in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and other engineering lab equipment for testing and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of USB, I2C, UART, SPI, and other common embedded-system interfaces.
- Experience designing, developing, or supporting embedded systems and applications.
- Hands-on experience with board bring-up and debugging analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution circuits.
