About the role
The Senior Facilities Wastewater Engineer supports the ongoing design, construction, commissioning, and operations for the OSAT facility. This role ensures environmental regulatory compliance, manages permitting processes, and maintains wastewater treatment operations.
What you'll do
- Support the design, installation, and commissioning of wastewater treatment systems for organic and inorganic waste treatment and BRF facilities. - Oversee daily operation of wastewater treatment plants, including monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and tracking chemical usage and flow rates. - Manage permitting processes to ensure compliance with county and city regulations, preparing regulatory reports and securing wastewater discharge permits. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce water consumption, improve treatment efficiency, and support corporate ESG reporting. - Enforce safety protocols for chemical handling and equipment operation across treatment operations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations. - Strong knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes. - Familiarity with SCADA systems and automated monitoring tools. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and Bluebeam. - Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces with PPE, and wearing a respirator.
Nice to have
- Experience in wastewater treatment operations in semiconductor manufacturing. - Experience in design, construction, commissioning, and start-up. - Professional Engineering License (PE).
