About the role
This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This technician will perform routine maintenance on Wet Etch area systems and rebuild assemblies in the Wet Etch areas of the fab.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and process-related issues in support of production objectives.
- Participate in area shift pass-down activities, prioritizing work based on production requirements.
- Analyze and resolve recurring maintenance problems.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
- Participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures.
What you'll need
- Associate Degree OR Military experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, nuclear or similar.
- Essential knowledge of hardware for chemical delivery, chemical processing, and handling for semiconductors.
- Ability to work from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
- Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices and take corrective action.
- Ability to participate in ERT/Safety events.
