About the role
The Sr. Engineer, Design will be a core technical individual contributor in the design and validation of on-chip controller and mixed signal circuitry in NAND FLASH chips, focusing on architecture development, product definition, and system integration.
What you'll do
- Develop architecture and product definitions for on-chip controllers and mixed signal circuitry.
- Perform detailed transistor level design.
- Create test plans for chip validation.
- Integrate and verify systems.
- Design and implement RTL for controller hardware.
- Develop firmware code for NAND internal operations and perform full-chip Verilog validation.
What you'll need
- Solid knowledge of Verilog language.
- Strong understanding of digital logic fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of analog circuits.
- Proficiency with mixed-mode design and validation.
- Thorough understanding of Design/Verification CAD tools such as ncsim, Design Compiler, Formality, PrimeTime.
- Knowledge of TCL or PERL.
Nice to have
- Knowledge in non-volatile memory design (NAND in particular).
- Experience using AI or AI proficiency.
