About the role
The Sr. Engineer, Business Solutions Group supports analytics, process improvements, and strategic initiatives at Amkor's corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ. This position focuses on identifying and driving recommendations to grow revenue, profitability, and internal process efficiency.
What you'll do
- Identify opportunities for revenue recovery and develop strategies to address them. - Develop a structured approach to project management and execution to improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate in the assessment of new business opportunities alongside business owners. - Enforce process adherence and data maintenance expectations, including proper administrative controls. - Build relationships across Factory, Sales, and Business Units to align operations with industry and customer trends.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Engineering or Engineering Management (Industrial Engineering preferred, with emphasis in Data Analytics). - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience managing projects and data analysis across organizations. - Experience with analytical tools and approaches such as Six Sigma, JMP, Tableau, and/or Power BI, along with coding and tool development. - Understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, cost structures, and product cost modeling. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Flexibility to travel up to 5% domestically and/or internationally.
Nice to have
- Relevant experience and/or familiarity with semiconductor packaging, or technical/business exposure in manufacturing or another technology field. - Direct AI and Python experience. - Familiarity with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
