About the role
Own the definition of the MPU platform strategy, including family architecture, derivative and segmentation strategy, and roadmaps for industrial, physical AI, multi-modal AI, and general-purpose embedded markets. You will lead a platform team of IP planners and solution definers while arbitrating on-chip resource allocations and driving the platform business case.
What you'll do
- Own the definition of the MPU platform family architecture, derivative and segmentation strategy, and product roadmap.
- Build, lead, and mentor the platform team covering industrial solutions, robotics solutions, DDR/memory subsystems, vision IP, and performance benchmarking.
- Arbitrate die-level resource allocations across area, power, memory bandwidth, and schedule among competing IP domains.
- Establish standards for IP make-versus-buy-versus-license evaluations, technical due diligence, and requirement sign-off.
- Own the platform business case with Finance and the Business Unit, including margin modeling, pricing structure, and volume assumptions.
- Direct platform-level security and functional safety strategy, including secure boot, root of trust, and certification roadmaps.
What you'll need

- Demonstrated leadership experience building, hiring, and managing technical planning or architecture teams.
- Technical breadth across vision and multi-modal sensing, AI acceleration, memory/DDR sub-systems, connectivity, and security IP domains.
- Proven experience arbitrating cross-domain trade-offs across area, power, memory bandwidth, and schedule.
- Fluency in commercial models including cost structure, margin modeling, segmentation, and pricing structure.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have
