About the role
This role involves providing technical support for defect detection processes and equipment within the Fab9 Contamination Free Manufacturing (CFM) module. The position focuses on defect inspection tools within a 200mm fabricator team.
What you'll do
- Identify and assess process issues with defect inspection tools.
- Execute standard work to write defect inspection recipes.
- Manage hold lots needing inspection.
- Execute standard work for initial dispositioning of lots that flag defect limits.
- Proactively support defect signal detection and work with engineering to determine the source.
- Run tools, including quals, when needed.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of relevant technical experience or equivalent military experience.
- Fluency in English Language (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing gloves, PPE, and a clean room suit.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing processes & activities (e.g., 5S, structured problem solving, value stream mapping, Kaizen teams, Training within Industry).
Nice to have
- 2 Year Associates Degree in Engineering or related Technical Discipline.
- Applied, working knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects.
