About the role
This role involves driving manufacturing ramp and qualifications of new toolsets as a Plasma Etch/Metro/RTP RAMP Manufacturing Engineer.
What you'll do
- Drive manufacturing ramp and qualifications of new toolsets across 300mm Plasma, Metrology and RTP processes.
- Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to qualify new toolsets and ensure process stability on released processes.
- Execute equipment/process startup strategy including process experiments (SWRs), engineering changes documentation (ECNs) and change control board approval (CCB).
- Document and fanout best known methods and systematic findings to improve ramp efficiency and reduce repeat ramp bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
- Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support the continuous flow of production and to minimize cycle time in a high volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab.
What you'll need
- 2 years of experience within the semiconductor industry as a process engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.
Nice to have
- Experience with Dry/Plasma etch, RTP, or Metrology.
