About the role
The Sr. Assembler 2 is part of the Defense and Space division, producing products for aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial, and other high-reliability applications.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with a team to assemble semiconductors under a microscope using liquid dispensing systems, die attach, wire bond, seal, and marking equipment.
- Prepare production materials for use, including staging, measuring, mixing, and related tasks.
- Carry out visual inspections before, during, and after the assembly process.
- Examine and complete lot travelers to ensure proper documentation of the assembly process.
- Communicate and work across departments regarding assembly problems and corrective actions.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing small components under a microscope.
- Ability to work under a microscope for long durations with strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Basic clean room experience and experience using small hand tools (such as tweezers).
- Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder status.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MIL-STD visual inspection standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP, Bar Code Scanning system, and MES software.
