About the role
This role involves managing Sputter Target inventory, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing material specifications to support semiconductor and advanced materials manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Manage Sputter Target inventory, including procurement planning, stock level optimization, and supplier coordination.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and testing protocols for Sputter Target materials.
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and analysis of incoming materials.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and non-conformances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends using statistical methods to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Support production teams by providing technical guidance on material handling, storage, and application best practices for sputter targets.
What you'll need
- Background in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Physics, or related technical field.
- At least 2 years of working experience.
- Experience in the semiconductor or advanced materials manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Experience in vendor management and supplier quality negotiations.
Nice to have
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or materials management within manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
- Strong knowledge of Sputter Target materials, specifications, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for quality metrics.
- Solid understanding of ISO quality management systems and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills with experience in supply chain coordination.
