About the role
This role involves reviewing new solution feasibility, coordinating qualification and certification processes, and partnering with OEMs.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with marketing and the custom design solutions team on new solutions and manage qualification and certification submissions.
- Partner with the OEM to align expectations, address issues, and ensure project completion.
- Analyze detailed server or computing platforms at a full system level to provide solutions.
- Handle multiple technical cases and client priorities simultaneously.
- Examine schematics, block diagrams, diagnostic data, manufacturing test results, and thermal or electrical measurements to identify root causes.
- Drive progress in server architecture by improving CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, power delivery, cooling, and high-speed interconnects.
What you'll need
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or in a comparable technical role.
- Practical experience detecting issues within complex server or computing environments across the entire system.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and technical cases simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of server architecture, encompassing CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, power delivery, cooling, and high-speed interconnects.
- Ability to interpret schematics, block diagrams, diagnostic logs, test results, and measurement data.
- Project management and communication skills to translate technical information and collaborate with business and engineering teams.
