About the role
As a Solution Engineer on the Solutions team, you will own integrations between partner CU/DU stacks and Eridan's RU, serving as the technical face of Eridan to integration partners. You will configure and debug systems while validating end-to-end performance from the disaggregated RAN core down to the radio.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end Open RAN bring-up across core, SMO, CU, DU, and RU components.
- Validate new software, devices, and radio variants such as 4T4R and 100 MHz in lab and field settings.
- Validate core, CU, DU, RU, and UE performance against RF and network parameters, including latency- and uplink-sensitive use cases.
- Own partner integrations end to end, driving technical requirements and debugging directly with partner engineers.
- Debug issues across Linux systems, network switching, fronthaul, and RAN configuration using tools including Keysight and Wireshark.
What you'll need
- Experience operating on the Linux command line to configure and debug disaggregated systems.
- Working knowledge of disaggregated Open RAN architectures, including core, SMO, CU, DU, and RU integrations.
- Experience with test and analysis tools such as Wireshark and Keysight for network and RF parameter debugging.
- Hands-on background validating network switching, fronthaul, and end-to-end performance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship or visa transfers.
- Ability to spend roughly 85% of time in the lab and 15% in the field, including domestic and international travel.
