About the role
This role involves leading the internal core software development team with cross-functional management skills. The team develops software for Compute Test Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
What you'll do
- Provide architectural and technical guidance for ATE software development and delivery.
- Lead an agile team in designing, implementing, and testing core software features for product releases.
- Manage and mitigate technical risks.
- Review and implement process improvements, including continuous integration objectives and quality metrics.
- Set goals aligned with organizational strategy and provide coaching and mentorship.
- Manage team elements in multiple geographic locations.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of direct management, project and technical leadership, and/or team leadership experience.
- 10+ years in software sustaining or software development.
- Deep, daily experience with Generative AI tools and a proven track record of using them to increase team throughput.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
Nice to have
- Understanding of the automated test equipment industry.
- Experience with C#/VBA, embedded, and multi-threaded programming.
- Experience with Agile software development process.
- Full product life cycle experience from concept to customer support.
- Master's degree in EE/CS or MBA.
