About the role
This role is for an experienced Software Engineer within Teradyne's Compute Software Division.
What you'll do
- Lead customer interaction and maintain relationships for the Compute Software Division in the local region.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and document interface specifications for user review.
- Design components with throughput and robustness as underlying requirements.
- Code components and algorithms with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform thorough testing and debug to reduce escaped defects.
- Participate in extensive peer reviews across product components to ensure quality.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in C#, C++, Java, or equivalent object-oriented programming languages.
- Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with integrated development environments and debug tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Web application development experience.
- Knowledge of analog electronics and/or digital electronics.
- Co-op or internship experience.
