About the role
Develop, test, and improve software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves working directly with precision robotics, sensors, motion-control systems, and simulation environments to validate software-hardware integration.
What you'll do
- Develop, test, and improve reliable software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Apply Object-Oriented Design, multithreading, event-driven architectures, debugging, and modern software development using C++, C#, or Python.
- Work with real equipment and simulation environments to validate software-hardware integration and troubleshoot system interactions.
- Use Git-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern debugging tools.
- Explore the responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools.
- Collaborate with Software, Systems, Hardware, Firmware, Quality Assurance, and other engineering teams locally and globally.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- A solid programming foundation in C++, C#, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Understanding of fundamental software concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Knowledge or curiosity regarding how software interacts with operating systems, communications, hardware, and complex machines.
