About the role
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff Field Applications Engineer within the Global Sales Organization, you will provide on-going technical support to customers while identifying, qualifying, and securing new business.
What you'll do
- Develop customized technical presentations and proposals to assist customers in the evaluation of solutions. - Drive design win acquisition strategy and oversee technology demonstrations. - Serve as the single technical interface to customer accounts, coordinating all technical sales interactions. - Formulate customer requirements, represent the capabilities of technology offerings, and convey the design solution value proposition. - Collaborate with product marketing, design solutions, and technology development teams to provide real-time customer feedback. - Identify and propose solutions to gaps and bottlenecks in product and service offerings to secure design win closure.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor IC design, system design, or semiconductor IC/system test. - English fluency (written and verbal). - Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Electronics/Electrical Engineering. - Experience in supporting Power and SiPh work. - Experience with advanced-node semiconductor technologies and devices. - Experience with design rules, enablement flows, and tools. - Ability to travel to visit customers and fabs across the USA, Europe, and Asia.
