SM1 Implant Equipment Technician
Maintain and upgrade AMAT/Varian (VIISTA 900XPT+, 900 3D MEHD II, Trident) and Axcelis (Purion XE) ion implant toolsets.
About the role
Texas Instruments is looking for an Implant Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed.
- Prepare technical reports and summary findings recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Work a compressed A or C shift schedule (12-hour shifts including day or night shift, holidays, and one weekend shift).
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.
- Either 2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military technician experience.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexibility to work day or night shift including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience on AMAT/Varian (VIISTA 900XPT+, 900 3D MEHD II, Trident) or Axcelis (Purion XE) toolsets.
- Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance via Tool Stability metrics.
