SM1 Epi Equipment Technician
Maintenance and repair role supporting AMAT Centura Prime and ASM Intrepid Atmospheric Epi equipment.
About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking an Epi Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and tool installation. You will interface with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve equipment issues and support manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations.
- Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze tool data to maintain performance and address tool-related issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs when required.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical issues.
- Train across additional modules to support fab requirements.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
- 2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor or military technician experience.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience working on AMAT Centura Prime or ASM Intrepid Atmospheric Epi.
- Troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
