About the role
This role involves supporting the development, validation, qualification, and release of test solutions for SiC and GaN products.
What you'll do
- Support development, validation, qualification, and release of wafer sort, final test, characterization, and module test solutions.
- Develop and maintain test programs, test plans, specifications, limits, validation reports, and release documentation.
- Execute DC, AC, dynamic, parametric, high-voltage, high-current, and application-relevant device testing.
- Design, debug, and validate test hardware such as probe cards, load boards, sockets, fixtures, and interface hardware.
- Analyze test and manufacturing data to identify yield loss, false failures, test escapes, equipment issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Create scripts and automated tools for test execution, data collection, reporting, and engineering analysis.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, characterization, or manufacturing test.
- Experience developing, debugging, or validating automated test programs or semiconductor test solutions.
- Experience using electrical test equipment such as source-measure units, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, power supplies.
- Experience with test data analysis, technical documentation, and engineering problem solving.
- Proficiency with data analysis and scripting tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW.
Nice to have
- Experience testing SiC, GaN, silicon power devices, power ICs, or power modules.
- Experience with high-voltage, high-current, dynamic, switching, thermal, or reliability testing.
- Exposure to wafer sort, final test, ATE, probers, handlers, probe cards, load boards, or sockets.
- Knowledge of design for testability, guard banding, outlier detection, statistical process control, or test limit optimization.
- Experience with databases, automated reporting, or scripting for test data analysis.
