About the role
As a Sensor & Camera Engineer V, you will develop and implement the roadmap for sensors and sensing solutions within the semiconductor inspection and metrology team. You will be responsible for defining system requirements, guiding sensor design houses, and driving system integration across complex hardware and software platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop and own multi-generation sensor and camera system requirements, driving multi-year sensor development roadmaps.
- Manage and develop sensor design houses and vendors to meet performance, schedule, and cost targets.
- Collaborate with optical, mechanical, electrical, software, algorithm development, and systems engineering teams.
- Formulate novel sensing solutions to match market needs and conduct design reviews in accordance with PLC development processes.
- Develop and implement sensor and camera calibrations, diagnostics, test plans, and procedures.
- Support system integration, calibration efforts, and technical knowledge transfer to software development, manufacturing, reliability, and service teams.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optical Physics, or a related technical field.
- 15+ years of experience, ideally in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
- Recognized technical expertise in high speed & low noise optical sensors and camera technology and development.
