About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Test Infrastructure Engineer to join the Test Solutions Group and build the infrastructure foundation for manufacturing systems of board and system products at Contract Manufacturer sites. In this role, you will apply systems, hardware, software, and automation expertise to engineer test-dedicated infrastructure including provisioning, compute, storage, automation, logging, and monitoring.
What you'll do
- Build and operate the initial CM test infrastructure service stack, covering test compute, storage, tester provisioning, configuration, automation scripts, DHCP, log collection, diagnostic logs, and file transfer.
- Establish standards for tester images, configuration baselines, inventory, naming, access, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Automate tester provisioning, configuration, recovery, health checks, and log collection using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
- Develop service runbooks, monitoring dashboards, alerts, incident procedures, and escalation paths for handling blocking issues across supported services.
- Partner with CM site operations on physical deployment, break/fix, remote access, rack-and-stack, power, and equipment replacement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to align test infrastructure with enterprise identity/access, network, security, DNS, patching, backup, and hardware standards.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, test engineering, lab operations, or technical operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on Linux administration experience.
- Experience with servers, storage, networking fundamentals, remote-management controllers, and hardware/lab environments.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools and languages, including Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or CI/CD.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
