About the role
Based in Chandler, Arizona, this senior individual contributor role supports reliability engineering operations across multiple microcontroller, analog, and power device business units.
What you'll do
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab tools, test fixtures, sockets, thermal systems, and bench setups. - Execute ESD control procedures, clean lab protocols, and safe handling of sensitive devices. - Manage lab inventory, organize tools and fixtures, schedule equipment usage, and manage several device qualifications concurrently. - Document lab procedures, test results, equipment usage, and maintenance logs according to quality and traceability standards. - Mentor junior technicians and engineers while serving as a senior technical resource for lab operations. - Ensure compliance with electrical safety, chemical handling, and equipment safety standards.
What you'll need
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, with 7+ years of hands-on laboratory or semiconductor experience. - Experience loading, unloading, and reworking semiconductor devices on circuit boards, sockets, DUTs, and test fixtures using ESD-safe practices. - Working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, curve tracers, programmers, and automated test systems. - Experience supporting engineering test setups, debugging hardware issues, and assisting engineers with board bring-up and device validation. - Ability to lift 40 lbs safely. - US Person status meeting ITAR lab requirements (US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or protected individual status under 8 USC 1324b(a)(3)).
