About the role

This role involves establishing the program framework for Compute PE's AI initiatives and building alignment across various teams for memory/compute product development.

What you'll do

  • Establish the program framework for Compute PE's AI initiatives, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
  • Build alignment among Compute PE, Design, Technology Development, DRAM/NAND business units, and partner teams.
  • Track initiative status, identify risks, and partner with teams to resolve issues across organizational boundaries.
  • Create clear reporting for senior leaders on portfolio health, progress, and key decisions.
  • Partner with Product Development Team Leads (PDTLs) and engineering leaders to incorporate AI requirements into product roadmaps.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and agentic solutions, such as Code Assist and Cloud Assist, to improve productivity.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years in the semiconductor industry with strong understanding of memory/compute product development.
  • Experience leading complex, technical programs involving multiple teams from definition through execution.
  • Deep familiarity with product engineering workflows (e.g., PDTL, Engineering Execution Managers).
  • Ability to synthesize technical complexity into clear executive communication.
  • Proficiency using AI enabled tools and AI-augmented workflows, including Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted approaches.

Nice to have

  • Product engineering leadership experience (PDTL, EEM) in DRAM, HBM, or compute-adjacent product lines.
  • Familiarity with Micron's product development processes, stage-gate frameworks, and cross-BU collaboration.
  • Understanding of AI/ML hardware trends and their intersection with memory and compute products.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI solutions or AI assistants (e.g., Roo Code, Code Assist, Cloud Assist).
