About the role
As a Senior Staff Test Engineer, you will apply expertise across test disciplines to lead test program development and drive organizational objectives for key products. The focus covers AI-focused power delivery products including Smart Power Stages (SPS), Point of loads (POL), Hotswap/Efuse, and MOSFETs.
What you'll do
- Develop test programs to support key NPI, quality, and capability initiatives. - Support qualification, characterization, and correlation of developed products. - Coordinate with product engineering and operations to enable production ramp, release, yield support, and customer return activities. - Act as a test platform expert on ATE equipment and guide lab teams with equipment calibration and maintenance planning. - Complete quality planning alongside hardware and software reviews for the test group. - Implement and develop baseline software and hardware solutions to scale test flows while balancing ROI, COGS, and capacity.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. - 10 to 15+ years of experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE). - 10 to 15+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital, and mixed signal, with a strong focus on analog power product testing. - Experience programming in C++, basic, Perl, or python. - Experience testing and collecting data on IC chips or circuits using standard tools such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Spectrum Analyzers. - Proficiency with ATE analog digital instruments, PCB layout parasitic reduction, and hands-on experience debugging analog products with serial bus interfaces. - Proven experience with test hardware and test program development.
