About the role
This role involves collaborating with sales, system architects, and the global marketing team to expand markets and customers in the Americas, focusing on customer engagement and broad market channel solutions. The specialist will drive application-level opportunities and expand customer adoption of Renesas products and solutions within Industrial applications including edge sensing & AI, motor control, and HMI.
What you'll do
- Engage with customers to drive solution-level solutions, secure design wins, and grow revenue.
- Collaborate with channel partners and customers to identify growth opportunities.
- Orchestrate Business Units, Sales, and FAEs in solutions promotion and business development activities.
- Build relationships with technical and procurement stakeholders in the infrastructure customer base.
- Work with Product Groups to define product requirements and improve product roadmaps.
- Prepare and refine customer presentations and develop product collateral, competitive analysis, and field training material.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in business development, field applications engineering, marketing, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of semiconductors and end-application solution understanding.
- Experience with channel sales and ability to follow up on leads and build relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- BSEE or related fields.
Nice to have
- MCU/MPU product marketing and applications experience.
- MSEE or MBA.
