About the role
The Senior Staff Maintenance Technician- UPW supports the daily operation and maintenance of Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater Neutralization (IWN) process systems. Working as part of the RODI operations team, the role interfaces with facilities engineers and technicians to maintain factory water systems and troubleshoot field devices.
What you'll do
- Support daily operations and maintenance of UPW and IWN process systems, participating as a member of the RODI operations team. - Interface daily with operation personnel, facilities engineers, and technicians to sustain operating factory uptime. - Troubleshoot field devices and process equipment to identify out-of-spec process conditions, assist with root-cause analysis, and recover systems to specification. - Write work plans for scheduled maintenance work on rotating equipment, workarounds, and system recoveries without unplanned impacts. - Perform routine operational and maintenance tasks on UPW/IWN equipment, including loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, and filters, as well as installation and commissioning. - Work C Shift: Thursday through Saturday in week one, and Wednesday through Saturday in week two, from 6:55am to 7:10pm.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - 7-10 years of work experience in a water plant. - Experience with UPW instrumentation including Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, and Control Valves installation and application. - Knowledge of system operation, maintenance, start up, and commissioning for an Ultra-Pure Water System in a semiconductor factory. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical writing skills to produce work plans. - Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, crouch, and navigate stairs.
