About the role
As a Senior Staff Concept Engineer, you will drive the development of advanced SiC and Si technologies across various Infineon sites.
What you'll do
- Derive power device specifications from marketing requirements.
- Define and verify the layout of the device, ensuring compatibility with the production process flow.
- Ensure robust production by planning and running experiments using DOE methodologies.
- Perform statistical analyses and translate results into clear, actionable conclusions.
- Lead root-cause investigations and drive the resolution of critical technology, yield, reliability, and stability challenges.
- Mentor and develop engineers across the organization, acting as a technical coach and role model.
What you'll need
- Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in chip technology development.
- Solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing.
- Ability to analyze, structure, and simplify complex technical challenges.
- Excellent English language skills.
