About the role
This role involves leading and optimizing PCB assembly processes and driving automation initiatives within the engineering lab. The scope includes advancing PCB assembly technologies and improving SMT production workflows.
What you'll do
- Lead and optimize PCB assembly processes using manual SMD soldering and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Drive setup, programming, and continuous improvement of SMT production workflows, including pick & place and reflow technologies.
- Perform PCB testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Design and review PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency within the engineering lab.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and process standards.
What you'll need
- Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB design and simulation, and automated assembly technologies.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle, or similar.
- Interest in automation, process optimization, and programming.
- Fluent English skills.
