About the role
This role involves supporting the overall quality of SoC silicon within the Silicon Validation team, focusing on bring-up, debug, and failure analysis at the embedded platform level in both pre-Si and post-Si phases.
What you'll do
- Bring up, debug, and analyze failures at the embedded platform level in both pre-Si and post-Si phases.
- Support, develop, and implement solutions for faster debug at the platform level, isolating failing components.
- Create debug strategies and plans for partners to triage failures and isolate specific components, including PVT and marginality issues.
- Automate debug flow using Gen AI.
- Debug low-level software and hardware issues.
What you'll need
- 5 to 8 years of experience with pre-Si and post-silicon enabling, bring-up, and analyzing failures at the embedded platform level.
- Understanding of basic RTL and ability to perform RTL inspection.
- Knowledge and experience with Gen AI for automating debug flow.
- Experience supporting, developing, and implementing solutions for faster debug at the platform level.
- Ability to create debug strategies and plans for triaging and isolating specific components, including PVT and marginality issues.
- Proficiency with debug tools, including JTAG.
- Experience using Lab Equipment such as Logic Analyzer, Scope, and Signal Generator.
