About the role
As Senior Silicon Reliability Engineer, you will conceive, design, and manufacture innovative semiconductor solutions for Kuiper’s satellite and ground terminal products. You will drive key aspects of semiconductor product manufacturing, test, qualification, and reliability.
What you'll do
- Define appropriate qualification plans based on system and product specifications.
- Identify key reliability risks based on wafer level reliability qualification reports from foundry partners.
- Develop and execute de-risking reliability strategies for product qualification.
- Design and fabricate burn-in boards for SoC and MCM product qualification.
- Estimate FIT rates and MTBF for ASIC components for system-level reliability analysis.
- Debug failures from qualification stresses and publish detailed qualification reports.
What you'll need
- Experience defining appropriate qualification plans.
- Experience reviewing process and technology selection for products.
- Experience collaborating with packaging teams on design, configuration, and Bill of Materials choices.
- Experience developing qualification strategies for multi-chip modules.
- Experience designing and debugging qualification hardware.
- Experience estimating FIT rates and MTBF for ASIC components.
