About the role

As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will serve as an individual contributor working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product-level reliability qualifications for new IC chips across AI, Data Center, Mobile, and Automotive sectors. These products use Fin-FET technologies on advanced process nodes packaged in FCBGA, CoWoS, or Multi-Chip Modules.

What you'll do

  • Develop product-level reliability qualification plans and implement qualifications for new IC chips across AI, Data Center, Mobile, Automotive, Deep Learning, Graphic Processor, and System on Chip sectors.
  • Collaborate with design, customer engineering, packaging engineering, and product/test engineering teams to define qualification plans and margin studies on critical parameters.
  • Partner with DFT and product engineering teams on qualification test programs, validation, and pre/post reliability stress test data analysis.
  • Investigate and analyze test data, failures, and failure mechanisms, applying mathematical analysis and reliability models to drive corrective actions and project field failures.
  • Assess reliability test requirements for non-conforming materials, maintain and improve the reliability database, and produce technical qualification reports and presentations.

What you'll need

  • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in IC reliability.
  • Technical background in wafer fab with advanced process nodes, alongside Flip Chip BGA and CoWoS packaging and assembly process technologies.
  • Knowledge of CMOS and Fin-FET device physics, reliability statistics, failure models, and failure mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (such as JEDEC, IPC, and AEC-Q100) for silicon die and package-level qualification, including ESD/LU testing procedures and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in reliability data analysis tools such as JMP, Weibull++, and/or Minitab.

Skills: reliability qualification, IC chips, Fin-FET technologies, failure mechanisms, JEDEC, Weibull++
