About the role
The Senior Project Manager supports AI programs for Lam Research's Global Operations (GOPs) organization within the Global Information Systems (GIS) PMO team. The role drives planning, execution, governance, and benefits realization across enterprise AI (EAI), Information Security, IT data lake, and IT enterprise applications teams.
What you'll do
- Lead AI programs and projects spanning enterprise applications, data analytics, infrastructure, and information security domains. - Develop program charters, project definitions, scope, success metrics, cost estimates, schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps. - Drive rapid build and deployment cycles, sprint planning, milestone reviews, steering updates, and governance decision forums. - Manage dependencies, risks, data readiness, data access, security, compliance, and model/solution validation across concurrent AI initiatives. - Prepare executive-level communications, including status dashboards, roadmap updates, risk summaries, and value realization tracking. - Coordinate AI solution delivery and third-party execution with product owners, architects, vendors, data teams, and business units.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience. - 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 3+ years leading AI deployment projects or programs. - Program and project management experience covering enterprise applications, infrastructure, information security, data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled initiatives. - Experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. - Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, or Microsoft 365.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting programs involving AI Foundries (e.g., MS Foundry), M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, knowledge search, workflow automation, or enterprise AI platforms. - Project Management certification such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM. - Working knowledge of generative AI concepts, data readiness, model lifecycle considerations, adoption planning, and responsible AI governance. - Ability to create AI use case intake criteria, prioritization models, delivery playbooks, and value measurement dashboards. - Experience coordinating architecture, security, privacy, legal, data governance, and organizational change management for emerging technology initiatives.
