About the role
This role involves owning the delivery of assigned AI products, applying methodologies in data science, automation, AI, and agentic systems to enhance Micron's procurement, planning, and business processes, specifically within the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization focused on FE Procurement.
What you'll do
- Own the product backlog for assigned AI and agentic use cases, capturing and refining requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support product discovery, helping define user personas, map procurement workflows and pain points, and validate use cases.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to design, execute, and deliver projects, coordinating support from global teams.
- Assess data readiness for assigned use cases, evaluating data availability, quality, and completeness, and defining data requirements.
- Drive assigned projects from problem definition through solution deployment, business adoption, and value realization.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing, Management Consulting, Technology industry within Procurement, Planning, Product management, Supply Chain, Software Development, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of AI, including machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI, with experience delivering data-driven, AI-powered products and solutions.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data pipelines, analytics, and the ability to partner with data engineering and data science teams to define requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
