$160,000 - $210,000 USD yearly
Originally posted 20 May 2026 by the employer.
About the role
The Senior Product Manager - Software owns the strategy and direction for Efficient Computer's developer platform, covering the compiler, SDK, runtime integrations, model enablement stack, and overall developer experience. This role translates the Fabric architecture and Electron E1 hardware capabilities into a scalable platform enabling customer deployment.
What you'll do
- Define the product roadmap for the compiler, SDK, runtime, model conversion and enablement tooling, and developer platform. - Lead framework and model enablement strategy across PyTorch, ONNX, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, and future runtimes, setting validation coverage and performance targets. - Drive reduction in time-to-first-working-application (TTFWA), tracking developer workflow metrics, build success rates, and friction points. - Establish SDK governance, surface area, versioning, release cadence, API stability commitments, deprecation policies, and backward compatibility standards. - Define requirements for profiling, debugging, and performance analysis workflows for AI inference, vision, audio, and sensor-processing pipelines. - Influence silicon roadmap decisions based on software constraints by partnering directly with hardware product management and architecture teams.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of product management experience for developer-facing software platforms such as SDKs, compilers, runtimes, APIs, ML tooling, or embedded developer ecosystems. - Experience shipping tools and platforms directly to external developers, including leading through the customer-zero phase. - Demonstrated ownership of developer adoption, onboarding success, workflow completion, or developer productivity metrics. - Strong understanding of modern ML inference and deployment pipelines, including PyTorch, ONNX, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, or TensorRT. - Familiarity with software performance tradeoffs involving memory, latency, throughput, power, and hardware utilization. - Demonstrated ability to translate customer workflows and technical constraints into actionable requirements alongside compiler, runtime, systems software, and silicon architecture teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with compiler toolchains, IRs, and deployment flows such as LLVM, MLIR, TOSA, or XLA. - Experience with embedded AI deployment pipelines, edge inference workflows, or novel semiconductor architectures. - Familiarity with embedded software ecosystems (FreeRTOS, CMSIS-NN, MCU SDK patterns), Linux-based cross-compilation workflows, or MLPerf benchmarking methodologies. - Experience with performance profiling tools, compiler traces, and benchmark-driven optimization workflows. - Experience operating in early-stage environments with incomplete requirements or hybrid PM and DevRel responsibilities.
